How far in advance would you get contractors to start giving estimates for these projects? Also if anyone know of the most competitive companies to search for estimates. I am doing my living room, hall and one bedroom with new carpet. My kitchen and laundry area in ceramic tile, and I want my living room, kitchen, and two of our bedrooms painted.
