house repairs
Kiko asked:

We are working on a house that needs a lot of repairs, such as paint, new flooring, lots of plumbing, water damage repair, yardwork, exterior work, ect. We are being paid out of the inheritance money to do it (it was my grandpas), and so far we are just being paid to clean. I’m curious for my own reasons what is usually the most profitable. We have the time to do the repairs, but they might sell it anyways. Thoughts?

Looking to buy a used car and see alot of them with Head Gasket problem’s. They say its a cheap repair usually running under 100$ but I was wondering how much labor it is to do it. Will do at home if its easy enough, my dad know’s a lot about cars and says it’s hard and not worth it but I have a feeling he’s being lazy.

My home is old and it needs a lot of work. However, I am on a fixed budget, and I need a contractor who can do anything from drywall, painting, yard work and plumbing, etc. To get a contractor to do work in the Washington, DC area is hard, because certain parts of DC has a lot of historical site laws which can place lot of restrictions on home owners and contractors. I need help before my old house becomes a serious problem.
