faucet repair
Ann asked:

My fabricator put the faucet holes too close to the back splash and I am having a difficult time finding a faucet that will fit or does not hit the back splash. Can the holes be patched or do they have to be enlarged creating an egg shape? I would have to make sure the escutcheon would fit over the hole, any suggestions?

How can I repair my faucet, not replace?

I have had 2 faucets, I believe they are American Standard. The same problem has
happened to the second one after replacing the first one. The black rubber or neoprene gasket has gotten bigger making it harder to push the spray nozzle all the way back in. It goes in part way but not all the way as it’s supposed to. Any suggestions except replace the faucet, which I have done once already? Also difficult to replace the gasket also.
