I noticed that I already have a tile that is cracked and would like to replace it with a new one but cannot figure out a way to take it out. I tried a hammer, and it didn/t do nothing more than just chipping it on the surface. Any suggestions ?

I have set thousands of feet of Travertine. But this last project has given us fits.
The tile was full of holes on the back and in about 25% 0f the project there are hollow ares.
I used the same process and high quality thin set and mortor I have always used with no problems.
Can you recomend some way to repair this without pulling up the tiles and reseting each.

The tile has been removed from the walls in the bathroom and the thinset is still on the walls. There are a few area where the dry wall looks damanaged but can be fixed. What is the best way to kix the dry wall? I plan on using a spray to texturize the walls once they have been repaired from the tile.

My new pup got a little over zealous today and tore a hole about 1/2″ across and an 1″ wide in our living room floor. The hole is right where the carpet meets our kitchen tile. I would like to repair it myself if at all possible, and have some leftover carpet from where we had our bathroom tiled.
