How to repair a washerless faucet that only drips the cold water?

The cold water drips out in a stream, but not the hot. This is a Glacier Bay two handle kitchen faucet from Home Depot. The book talks of the aerorater.
Are there any plumbers out there.

try to reduce the service valve pressure.it should be located under the faucet.
Get the web address of Glacier Bay and find out how to get it replaced free, meaning you will have to ship it to them, but what the heck, free is free, otherwise, try to fix it yourself, once again by using a search engine to find the instructions. I do this for various home fix up guidance, and you should do it as well. Happy surfing. Oh heck, here is the 1-800 number:

(by the way, just turning down the valve as advised above will only hmake the drip slow a bit, but it will not fix it)
Well, Home Depot most likely has the valve cartridge you need to repair it, but quite honestly by the time you buy the part and bust your knuckles trying to replace it, you’d have been better off just replacing the whole darned unit.
they sell a repair kit very esay to do hardly any tools needed
if there is a warranty take it back, if not, call the company and request a new cold water stem and gaskets. sounds like a defective stem. Never buy a cheap one. I’ve always bought MOEN and have never had a problem. LIFE-TIME warranty
Shut off water… Remove handle, take out cartridge and replace with new one
I will assume that you have shut off valves under the sink? you pry off the center of the faucet knob(the part with the C on it) under that is an screw, remove it, pull off handle, NOW YOU DID SHUT OFF THE WATER SOMEWHERE ELSE RIGHT? Cuz if you did not the water will hit the ceiling. under the knob you will find a nut unscrew it. Now note the way the next part is put in so when you put it back together it will still turn on and off the same direction. pull the stem part out(yes wiggle it a little). Now You should have laying on the counter next to the sink is the part you need from HDepot to repair it put it in and reassemble
The aerator is the part that unscrews from the end of the spigot. It’s purpose is to add air to the water as it comes out. The problem you are talking about is either a bad “seat” or worn out washers. If your faucet is new and you still have the receipt take it back and get a replacement. If it isn’t new, shut the water off at the supply valve(s) (usually under the sink) and unscrew the cold water side. Take it to a hardware store and ask for a faucet repair kit, they can find the right one and show you how to replace it. Get one for the hot water too, if one is leaking the other isn’t to far behind. If it still leaks after a new washer kit the “seat” is probably bad and it may be time to get a new faucet. Good luck.
The first thing to do is to go back to where you bought it.
They should have the replacement parts & maybe even give you some pointers on how to take it apart.
