Is there any store like Home Depot that has workshops or lessons on basic renovation/repair topics like tiling, painting, dry walling, whatever!

What are the things that are easy enough for the average person to do? And what are the things that are probably too hard or risky for the avg person to do?

Home Depot does have workshops I believe Lowe’s does too. Painting is easy (I’m a painter) lots are very easy depending if you know how to use the tools that go with the trade.
go to hgtv.com and find out there how far you can go they have alot of workshops on there.
Home Depot and Lowe’s both have workshops. You just need to go down to your local store and sign up!
For upcoming workshops try sites like diy or not dont know you can check your local library for upcoming workshops whether its what your local library.
The local store to see what classes because it would probably be easy.
