kachow_now asked: This is a standard faucet-everything I’ve seen is for repairing a leaky sink faucet (which I have done), but never a leaky bathtub faucet, and I have one that I need to repair.

My Opinion asked: My kitchen faucet started leaking all of a sudden. My landlord lives out of state, and I **** to inconvenience him for something I may be able to fix myself at little or no cost. Is there a way to fix a leaky faucet on your own?

Kerry W asked: the pin that you pull up to make the water go to the shower head came out of our tub faucet. We tried to replace the whole nozzle, but are being told it’s so old they don’t make them anymore. The threaded part of the new one at the store is 3/4″ and the old one is 1″ Any advice how to repair this without having to take the whole wall apart.

Pat asked: The cold water drips out in a stream, but not the hot. This is a Glacier Bay two handle kitchen faucet from Home Depot. The book talks of the aerorater.
Are there any plumbers out there.

bucky asked: I am not sure if it is the frost type. I live in PA. All i see is the hex head nuts behind the on/off knob Then it all goes back into the siding. I can see anyting else. The faucet has no hose on it now and it leaks when off where the water normally flows out.

Ann asked: My fabricator put the faucet holes too close to the back splash and I am having a difficult time finding a faucet that will fit or does not hit the back splash. Can the holes be patched or do they have to be enlarged creating an egg shape? I would have to make sure the escutcheon would fit over the hole, any suggestions?

desta asked: I have never done any plumbing repairs before, but my kitchen sink faucet drips regularly unless I find the exact position for the Delta faucet handle. I **** to use the kitchen sink because it is such a hassle to turn it completely off. I don’t want to hire a plumber for something that I might be able to easily repair myself. Any advice?

sgt asked: I have had 2 faucets, I believe they are American Standard. The same problem has
happened to the second one after replacing the first one. The black rubber or neoprene gasket has gotten bigger making it harder to push the spray nozzle all the way back in. It goes in part way but not all the way as it’s supposed to. Any suggestions except replace the faucet, which I have done once already? Also difficult to replace the gasket also.

Alexsei772 asked: I have a faucet that doesn’t flow. I can turn it on and use the sprayer, but no water from anywhere else. I’ve tried looking on different sites and they all tell you how to fix a leak or tighten a loose handle. There has to be a solution somewhere….a website I overlooked, something………
